Two songs made for arenas and sports' highlights

The NFL football season officially gets underway tomorrow.  What better time than to showcase two two bands that know how to make glossy arena jams made for sports' highlights than today.  You can pretty much cut any sport highlight to these two tracks. I think one got some use on FIFA and even the Olympics. Most people in the US might not have gotten the taste of these two tracks because they get played mostly during Euro sportscasts in England.

The first catchy arena anthem is by The Courteeners.  I came across this song about 2 years ago and still think it's a great anthem song.  I believe it was used to promo the Olympics recently during England's broadcast.  I don't think the US broadcasts used this. Anyhow, here's "Take Over The World" by The Courteeners. Slap it to any highlight sports video and it works.

The Chevin put out a song called "Champion" that pretty much hammers the nail on the head when it comes to anthems.  Their entire first LP is great by the way. If you like this, don't miss out on other songs like "Blue Eyes" from their Champion album.
