Ok, I just spoke about Chase & Status doing an album that was insightful and about something. I didn't want to leave out the US hip hop talent that have actually put out songs that are about something. Killer Mike pretty much threw down the political track of the year. I would've loved to have pumped this at the GOP convention. This is one of my favorite in your face rap songs since Public Enemy.
Here's "Reagan" from Killer Mike produced by EL-P. The bass is heavy on this track so be warned not to sit too close to your speakers.
By the way, I don't support either party, just thought this track spoke a lot of truths with one tight flow. Actually, this song might explain why I don't support either party.
Since I'm on the rap theme, I want to hit you guys with another song I can't stop listening to right now. This is "Zero Dark Thirty" by Aespon Rock. I have zero clue what this songs about after a good 20 or more listens. No clue. This beat is so sick I don't care what the lyrics are about.
